Garage Door Trim / Fascia
A hem is added to give the peice extra strength.
Fascia w/ Aesthetic Rib
A bump is added with a roller to give the fascia a different aesthetic.
Typical flashings and where they're commonly used:
"L" Flashing
"L" flashing is typically used in roof-to-wall applications to force water away from the house.
"Z" Flashing
"Z" flashing is commonly used as a drip cap above windows or above trim boards to force water outward.
"C" Channel
"C" channel is usually used to cap lumber and protect it from rotting by keeping it from being exposed to the elements.
Adding a "kick" to flashings helps water flow off and not behind:
Ledge Flashing w/ Kick
This flashing can be used on a ledge where siding comes down to meets a stone wall. The kick helps water flow out and not get behind the stone.
Angled Flashing w/ Kick
Angled flashing with a kick is typically used to flash water where a wall meets a roof.
