BeautyGuard Building Products was founded by Mr. Paul Fritz in 1960 as a franchise of the Beautyguard National Corporation. The Beautyguard National Corporation's objective was to become the number one recognized provider of seamless aluminum siding in the exterior building supply industry. Our company grew steadily over its first years in business.

In 1968 Mr. Bob Peifer joined our team as manager of the Beautyguard franchise. Bob's attention to detail, combined with an emphasis on time and material management served to amplify Beautyguard's unique approach in supplying the exterior building material industry.

To be the leading supplier of seamless aluminum siding, Beautyguard began developing a strong working relationship with major industry suppliers such as the Rollex® Corporation and Wolverine™, a CertainTeed® Company. These companies remain an integral component of our business today.

Beautyguard began construction of our current fabricating and warehousing facility in 1969. Located in Schererville, Indiana, it was specifically situated to provide services and supply materials to our residential and light commercial customers in the Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana area.

In 1984 Bob Peifer was presented with the opportunity to purchase Paul's business interest in our company. Proudly, Beautyguard Building Products became a part of the Peifer family of companies.

Over the years Beautyguard has continually evolved. Constantly changing, but always driven by the needs of our customers.

When the requirement to fabricate custom exterior sheet metal components arose, we responded with a fully equipped sheet metal fabrication shop. As our customers began to request onsite manufactured guttering, Beautygurad answered with the service of a mobile, self-contained manufacturing truck and equipment. This allowed the creation of JOBSITE-FABRICATED SEAMLESS GUTTERS, in continuous lengths, limited only by the specification of the job requirements.

Beautyguard has the unique advantage of personally knowing the people that manufacture the exterior building materials for the companies we represent. This means that even if we don't immediately have an item you require ... we know where to find it!

Today, Beautyguard remains a solely family owned, family run business. Since our founding in 1960, we've been in continuous operation as a proud U.S.A. based company.

Today Beautyguard keeps the same principles and integrity on which the company was founded.  Our team strives to bring the best service and support to each customer that walks through our door.
